Born and raised in New Hampshire, Roger graduated from Nashua High School (now Nashua South High School). He graduated from Bentley College with a Bachelors of Science degree in Management and started his career working at Fidelity Investments. He then pursued opportunities at MFS Investment Management in the Retirement Services division, which is now part of The Hartford.
In his spare time, Roger enjoys cycling and has participated in various charity bike rides as both a cyclist and as a volunteer member. He also enjoys swimming and can be found at various ponds and beaches in the summer time, sometimes combined with a bike ride. When he is not tied down with project at home he is likely to be found traveling. Roger always tries to send a postcard to his nephew so that he track he can where Roger has been – a new twist on where’s Waldo.
Roger recently completed the 2008 Braking The Cycle AIDS bike ride - a 275+ mile adventure in the rain from Gettysburg PA to New York City, September 26-28, 2008. He had so much fun changing five flats on that recent Saturday he has decided to ride again next year when the new route will take him from Boston to New York City, September 11 -13, 2009
